Tonight's post is a little moan i'm afraid 😭.
Unlike a lot of salons now, we don't ask for deposits and we don't charge a cancellation fee. We get that sometimes life is challenging and things happen out of our control, and also we are lucky to have such awesome customers. But we are noticing we are getting more and more no shows or last minute cancellations.
Its really tough as we still have bills, wages etc to pay. We think we're quite reasonably priced but it really impacts us if we've turned others away as we're too busy to then find ourselves sitting around as someone has forgotten their appointment or not even told us they cant make it!
Today between the 3 of us we ended up with 7 hours of sitting around and losing out on just over £400!!
Its not sustainable as a business so unfortunately ive made the decision to implement a no show fee.
We now require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. No-shows or late cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
This must be paid before a new booking is made.
Sorry to do this and I know most of you will understand.
Its the only way we can keep our doors open and you all looking fabulous 😘
