Hi All. It's certainly been a busy month, with the launch of my wee honesty box, and the continuing harvest of fruit and veg. I'm truly blown away by the generous support of customers who have visited the honesty box so far. Thank you.
I'm right into the chutney making season now with a different pan on the hob each night, so it's all go for sure. And I see the brambles are starting to ripen so I'll be out picking lots of those lovely little black beauties soon.

I'm excited to say the least. Turriff Mens Shed have finished making my honesty box and I get to pick it up tomorrow.
Hope to get it painted and have it ready to open this Saturday.
The Turriff Mens Shed is busy making my wee honesty box, so hopefully I will soon be able to offer up some of my surplus veg and fruit along with a wee selection of Homemade Handmade products such as Scottish tablet, jams, chutneys and a small selection of homebakes.
These will be available at The Potting Shed, 68 High St, Cuminestown, but just on a Saturday to begin with.
Who's up for it?

Couldn't resist pulling up a stem of tatties. Canna wait to have these for my supper..They might not be very big but I'm sure they will taste great
After saying a couple of weeks ago how welcome the rain was, I'm now saying, please can we have just one whole dry day.
We're never happy.
On the plus side, I have now ordered my wee honesty box for my plot over at Cuminestown so hope to have it up and running in July

That rain was fairly welcome for us gardeners. It's really made everything spring up, including the weeds unfortunately.
Onions are doing well, beetroot is planted out, first tatties should be ready in about 6 weeks and the gooseberry and currant bushes look to have a promising crop.
Anyone local to cuminestown will now notice I have my wee potting shed up, happy days. I was thinking of maybe having a wee honesty box selling some produce.
Who would be interested?
Would it be worthwhile?

Drop me a message and I can arrange pick up or drop off to suit you
Thanks
