From warm and coppery to a fresh, lived-in blonde.

Hairbylilybourne cooled down the warmth, brightened up the blonde and kept plenty of natural dimension.

The goal was that fresh, just back from holiday blonde without it looking like she’s just had her hair done.

Such a natural refresh!

How a sew-in weft SHOULD look when it’s installed…

The beads should be neat, the weft should sit securely and the stitching should be clean and even.

And as your natural hair grows, the weft should grow out neatly with it, not become tangled and matted.

If your weft looks significantly messier than this as it grows out, it could be a sign it hasn’t been installed correctly.

Good installation isn’t just about how it looks on day one. It’s about how it looks, feels and grows out too.

We’re so excited to welcome Ellie to the Inspire Studio team!

Ellie is a qualified beautician with her Level 2 & 3 in Beauty, as well as a TGB BIAB qualification. She’s passionate about all things beauty and loves helping her clients enhance their natural features while making sure every treatment feels professional, personal and relaxing.

When she’s not in the salon, you’ll usually find Ellie spending time with family or shopping!

Warmer or cooler tones - what’s your preference?

A few inches makes a BIG difference.

This client came in with longer, grown out lengths that were starting to look a little heavy and uneven through the ends.

We took it up into this much shorter, softly textured cut, keeping the natural wave but giving it a much cleaner shape and more movement.

A proper chop, but one that she feels comfortable with!
