💜 Meet the Team - Welcome Lucy! 💜

We're delighted to welcome Lucy to the West Reablement Team as one of our Senior Support Workers.

Lucy brings with her an incredible 16 years of experience across a range of health and social care settings. Her career has included supporting people in end-of-life and dementia care, working with adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours in the community, and helping individuals on their recovery journey as a Substance Misuse Recovery Coordinator.

Supporting people to achieve the best outcomes has always been at the heart of Lucy's work, making her a fantastic addition to the Reablement service.

Today we recognise the importance of supporting people living with dementia to live as independently, safely and confidently as possible.

At Reablement, we work alongside individuals and their families to focus on what matters most to them. Through personalised support, encouragement and practical strategies, we help people maintain skills, routines and independence in their own homes for as long as possible.

Living with dementia can bring challenges, but with the right support, people can continue to enjoy meaningful activities, remain connected to their communities and retain control over their daily lives.

On National Dementia Care Day, we celebrate the dedication of carers, families and professionals who make a positive difference every day, and we reaffirm our commitment to promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing for those living with dementia.
