Goodness me, it’s been awhile 🥹🤍

Sooooo much has happened since the last time I updated you all.

I just wanna start off by saying a huge thank you for your patience & understanding throughout this process 💗

I’ve had a lot of messages recently & the main question being; “When will you be re-open?”. I want to be completely transparent with you, but can’t help feeling vague af; because I still don’t know when that will be. I’m still undergoing investigations & having another MRI soon 🤞🏻 It’s been an absolute BATTLE to get this far! Hence my radio silence & taking a step back from this account.. which I hope you can understand. Ya gal needed the time to heal & to accept multiple diagnoses. Living w chronic illness & recovering from a spinal injury has completely changed my life.

Once I’m in a position to integrate myself back into work, you’ll be the first to know 😋💗 I also want to add that deposits are secure & your vouchers are also still valid! If you have any other queries, please don’t hesitate to message me 🥰

I wanna say that SMANF BEAUTY isn’t gone… just temporarily paused 🤍 I can’t wait to see yous all & get back to doing what I love most!

I thought I’d give yous a lil smanf update & break my radio silence.

I’m so sad to say that I won’t be reopening as of yet. It’s been a hot minute since I put my tools down for the last time. (382 days to be exact 🥲). Who’d have thought it?! And wow, it’s been a journey.

Recovery is unpredictable AF. Therefore I can’t set a date just yet, as I’m unsure of what I’m gonna be like from one day to the next. Just know I’m working so hard on getting better... ya’ll ain’t ready for the comeback 🤪✌🏻💕

I’m beyond grateful for your patience & ongoing support. I’m missing all of your lush faces. Can’t wait to get my hands on ur lashes, brows & nails!!

I had the intention of writing this post sooner, but in all honesty I’ve been enjoying less time on social media. As much as I love social media, it’s important to have a lil detox when you feel the need to.

Reflecting on 2020, it was S H I T. We were all personally victimised by it. Mentally, physically & financially challenging. I’ve been closed almost an entire year, but ya know what honeys???

After a lot of thinking behind whether it would be wise to return to work this side of Christmas.. SMANF BEAUTY will not be reopening just yet. I’ve spent days upon days trying to write this post. I really hope you understand that this decision hasn’t been taken lightly 🥺💖

Although I’ve made good progress, I’m still not better. I just can’t risk coming back to work too early and reversing all of my hard work. I ALWAYS preach, if I’m not 100%, my work won’t be either. We all know how much of a perfectionist I am & I will never compromise on that.

It’s been a very long couple of months. Recovering from injuries is tough, but I’m tougher. If I’ve learnt anything this year, it’s that your health shouldn’t be taken for granted. Plus a whole bunch of patience 🥵✨

I can’t wait to make 2021 my bitch & come back stronger than ever. I honestly can’t thank you all enough for being so supportive. I really can’t wait to see you all in the new year 🤩💞

As most of you already know by now, ya gal still hasn’t reopened yet. My achy breaky back has other plans for me atm 🥴 I want to keep you all updated on my current situation. I’ve felt conflicted about doing this post but I always wanna keep it real with you all...

For now, it’s hard to say when I’ll be back in work. I’ve suffered with back problems for years & this is the worst flare up I’ve ever experienced.
I’m making slow and steady progress in physio. Taking things day by day is hard. Really hard. Especially when all I want to do is see your lush faces and do what I love. But if I’m not 100%, neither is my work.

The past few months have been exceptionally hard. I spent the entirety of lockdown focussing (aka worrying) on my business & daydreaming about reopening. 2020 has done us all dirty & I can’t wait to see the back of it. This will not define me, babes 💅🏻
