🩷Some messages stay with you forever...
I received this beautiful email from a client who is currently going through another round of chemotherapy. She has given me permission to share.
Having her permanent brows done before starting treatment has helped her feel so much more like herself. Even on the hardest days, she doesn't look in the mirror and see someone who looks as unwell as she may feel. That small change has made such a huge ditterence to her confidence and emotional wellbeing.
Cancer treatment takes so much away from people, and while permanent makeup can't change what someone is going through, it can help restore a little sense of normality, identity and control. Brows frame the face, add expression and can help soften the visible effects of hair loss, allowing someone to feel more like them during an incredibly difficult time.
It is such a privilege to be trusted with treatments that go far beyond aesthetics. Knowing that something I created has helped someone smile at their reflection during one of the toughest chapters of their life is something I'll never take for granted.
To my wonderful client - thank you for allowing me to share your story and for your incredibly kind words. You are strong, beautiful and inspiring, and I'm sending you so much love as you continue your journey. 🤍
If you or someone you know is preparing for chemotherapy and would like to know how permanent brows can help before treatment begins, please feel free to get in touch. I'm always happy to answer any questions.

Another bespoke and beautiful ni**le tattoos following breast cancer and reconstructive surgery 🌸
This lovely lady requested a little heart shaped Montgomery gland - (the small, raised, goosebump-like bumps found on the ar**la) which I was delighted to do - how cute is it?!! 🩷
It's such a pleasure to create these individual designs for my clients and to see the smile on their faces at the end, usually after the tears!
Unfortunately Meta are being a bit difficult again with ni**le tattoo artists showing their work, so if I disappear after this post you know why! 😏

✨How Permanent Makeup can help during chemotherapy✨
🩷Supporting clients through every stage of their cancer journey.
I am often contacted by people about to start chemotherapy who want to have their brows or eyeliner tattooed so they don't feel so self conscious when they inevitably lose their hair 💔
Unfortunately I've had many occasions when it's too late to complete the treatment as it MUST be carried out AT LEAST 2 weeks before the chemotherapy starts. This timeframe allows your skin to fully heal, as chemotherapy suppresses the immune system and increases the risk of infection or poor healing. ❤️🩹
PMU brows and eyeliner, done before chemotherapy begins, can help soften the impact of hair loss and provide a sense of familiarity during a challenging time.
It's not about changing how you look, it's about preserving a part of yourself when everything else feels uncertain.
🩺Always consult with your medical team and a trained professional to ensure it's the right and safe choice for you.
