Ever feel like your energy is constantly running on empty? It might not just be your schedule—it could be what your body is holding onto.

Sports massage isn’t just for athletes. It’s a powerful way to restore energy, support recovery, and help your body feel like YOUR body again.

✨ Here’s how it helps ✨

**Boosts muscle recovery**
When your muscles are tight, overworked, or injured, your body uses a huge amount of energy trying to repair them. Sports massage supports this process—helping muscles recover more efficiently so you’re not constantly drained.

**Increases circulation**
Improved blood flow means more oxygen and nutrients delivered where your body needs it most. The result? Better function, less fatigue, and a noticeable lift in energy levels.

**Reduces physical pain & mental stress**
Pain is exhausting. It keeps your nervous system on high alert and can wear you down mentally as well as physically. Massage helps calm that “red alert” state, easing tension and allowing your body (and mind) to finally relax.

**Improves flexibility & range of movement**
When your body moves more freely, everyday tasks require less effort. Less strain = more energy for the things you actually enjoy.

---

💭 And if you’re injured… 🥰
... It's exhausting in ways people don’t always see.

Your body is working overtime to heal.
You may feel frustrated, less independent, and stuck doing less than you’re used to.

Your nervous system stays heightened… and sleep can suffer too.

All of that takes energy.

---

💛 Here’s how you can manage that and protect your energy 💛

Be kind to yourself — healing takes time
Focus on what your body *can* do, not what it can’t (right now)
Allow yourself to accept support — you don’t have to do it all alone
Pace yourself when returning to activity — progress doesn’t need to be rushed
Book yourself a massage 😉

---

Healing isn’t just about fixing the body—it’s about restoring balance, energy, and trust in yourself again.

Take care of your body, and it will take care of you 🤍

After a sports massage, you may experience some of the following side effects. These are all normal, whilst your body is rebalancing itself and helping your body's systems eliminate unwanted toxins, so please don’t worry.

👉Some soreness/redness, especially on any areas that deep work was carried out

👉Nausea

👉More frequent urination

👉Aching muscles

👉Headaches

👉Feeling thirsty

👉Heightened emotions

👉Feeling tired/sleepy

👉Flu/cold like symptoms

These symptoms should pass withing 24/48hrs.

If dry cups were used during your treatment, the red circles that vary intensity, may last 3-7 days after treatment

In order to gain the maximum benefit from you massage, it is advisable to allow your body to respond to the effects. We recommend the following advice for the first 24 hours after your treatment:

✨Drink plenty of water. This ensures that your body is hydrated and helps the lymph and circulatory system remove waste products from your body.

✨Refrain from drinking alcohol and caffeine if possible as this is adding more toxins back into your body can be dehydrating.

✨Try to allow enough time for recovery and find time for relaxation. Naps are perfect for this!

✨Keep activity light and not too strenuous. Stretching and walking is perfect.

✨Avoid heavy meals, eat light meals so the body can concentrate on the healing process and encourage detoxification.

Soak the Stress Away: The Power of a Hot Bath for Tired Muscles.

After a long day at your desk, hunched over a screen and carrying the weight of the world in your shoulders, there’s nothing quite like sinking into a hot bath 🛁✨

The warmth helps to relax tense muscles, improve circulation, and ease away those nagging aches and pains that office life can bring — especially around the neck, shoulders, and upper back 💆‍♂️💆‍♀️. It’s the perfect way to switch off your mind, let go of stress, and give your body a little TLC.

Pair your hot bath with some gentle stretching or deep breathing, and you’ll feel lighter, calmer, and more refreshed — ready to take on whatever tomorrow throws your way 💙

Your body works hard for you. Don’t forget to return the favour!

💻Sitting down a lot can make your feet, ankles and lower legs feel stuck and movements feel heavy.

🙌Seated or standing calves raises are awesome to get the blood flowing from your feet up. Your calves act as a pump to help push blood upwards.

Seated calf raises are a great exercise to do at your desk to make your legs and feet feel better. Progress this exercise at the gym by adding weight to the movement.💪
