I absolutely loved every minute and came away with so many new ideas and techniques to put into practice! 🖤❤️

You don’t know the battles they’re fighting, the things they’re dealing with, the weight they’re carrying, or the struggles they may be quietly facing every single day.

Sometimes the person who looks like they have it all together is simply doing their best to get through the day.

So before you judge someone…
pause.

Choose kindness.
Choose understanding.
Choose compassion.

Because you never know what someone is carrying beneath the surface. 🖤

✨ DAY 1 — EXTREME PHOTOGRAPHY MASTERCLASS ✨

What an absolutely amazing first day at Hazel Dixon’s Academy in Thetford! 🤍

To kick start the day off we was greeted by a humus good bag! Well 2 actually!

Today was all about really understanding the Extreme Photography category — what the judges are looking for, where those all-important points are gained, and how we can maximise our chances of getting the best possible score.

We started by breaking down the rules and, more importantly, understanding what they actually mean and how they can be interpreted. One thing I’ve definitely taken away is if you’re not sure, ASK! Don’t just leave it to chance. 🙌

Then we moved onto themes and how to take an idea and turn it into a readable, cohesive set of nails. We were given our theme and had to create a mood board before developing our ideas, deciding on our pose and working out exactly which features and elements would make it into our final image.

And then it was time to BUILD! 🔨✨

We all started with five long stilettos and began bringing our ideas to life.

So much information, so much to think about and SO much learning already… and that was just Day 1! 🤯❤️

Absolutely loving every minute of this! 🖤
