To all my lovely clients past and present.

After 9 years working within Vivid Hair Design, I have the made the decision to set up my business from home. This will enable me to focus on my future extended family and business endeavours. I would like to take the time to thank Michelle and all the past/present employees within Vivid Hair Design for all your support and help over the years, I only wish the next person the same blessings.

I will contact current clients with new location details should you wish to continue your nail/beauty journey with myself, or I am happy to keep hold of contact details and pass them forward with consent if the Vivid Hair Design location is essential for you.

My last day in the current salon will be Saturday 7th May, all appointments booked during and after this period will still remain should you wish them to. Any other queries feel free to message me.

Hi all,

Due to multiple price increases, inflation and the UK's minimum wage on the rise I have no other option but to slightly adapt my prices. I did not want to do this over the past couple of years as I understood the struggles we all faced individually, so please be aware I have not taken this decision lightly. I plan to do this from week commencing Mon 14th March. I understand if the adaptation effects you all within the budgets we have, so I felt it was easier to give you all notice regarding this matter to inturn make a decision going forward.

Morning all, as of today I'm aware that face coverings are no longer a legal requirement. I personally will continue to wear mine during treatments, and encourage others to do so to protect others who are nervous but I also value your own choices/ideas on this matter. I'll continue to remain safe in the work place for the sake of everyone.

Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and New Year.
I've lately had people cancelling/rescheduling due to having COVID. And I'd like to thankyou all for that as so far I have become unscathed, but I'd just like to prompt a reminder that although I appreciate all your different beliefs/views on this delicate matter, that this is my job and my livelihood that I rely on and it's important I protect the more vunerabale people around my life wether it be work or home. Id like for people still to enjoy the luxury of a treatment and feel safe whilst doing so. So if you feel like you have any symptoms related to COVID or may have been in contact with anyone who is positive, please bare all the above in mind.

Just a quick message to say I wish you all the merriest Christmas. Apologies as always for the lack of pictures, I have been none stop for 11 days but last hurdle today!!! So here's a few that my LOVELY clients have taken, just to prove I'm still floating around haha.
I'd just like to take the opportunity to tell you all how thankful I am for each and everyone one of you, without you guys I'd be nothing and thank you so much for all your lovely gifts and gestures and more importantly for keeping me going. I am unbelievable greatful for you all, words cannot describe. I hope this Christmas is better than the last for you all.

Morning guys, due to new rules put in place by the government, I would like to confirm that face masks are now mandatory when entering The Beauty Cottage unless you have medical exemption. Please be mindful of this whilst attending an appointment to continue to protect and curb from this ongoing pandemic. Stay safe.

I've managed to message everybody impacted tomorrow but just to post that The Beauty Cottage will be closed tomorrow due to delayed building work. As you can imagine I am so sorry that this has had to happen, but rest assured I am here with my diary to do any admin/bookings and extra hours to make this work. Thankyou to all my lovely clients who have been very patient and kind to me today, I actually love you all so much.

As Monday 19th is approaching, I wanted to take the time to write a message regarding the rule changes/relaxation. I have been monitoring and have noticed that a lot of people lately have had to rearrange due to isolation through school bubbles etc. With that in mind, I've made the decision to still keep my routine in place for the safety of my clients. However, how you choose to carry this out is completely in your hands but I ask that you respect my choice and salon etiquitte for the time being. It's been a hard year and my business/family/friends I hold in the highest regards and I would hate to create a situation for somebody else also.

Hi Lovelies,
Just a polite reminder that I appreciate/require at least 24hours notice for an appointment you're unable to attend. I have a waiting list for cancellations and it's difficult to fill them when it's last minute. I understand things come up and people forget but I'm also trying to run a business as smoothly as possible.
