I thought i would introduce myself.

My name is Kerry Bradshaw

I started my hairdressing journey back in 1998... wow, that feels like a lifetime ago! 🤣

At just 16 years old, I went for one interview with Ian Henry Hairdressing, and I never looked back.
I was an incredibly shy teenager, suddenly thrown into a busy, noisy, confident salon environment. Looking back now, it was the best thing that could have happened to me. It brought me out of my shell and gave me what I believe was some of the best training in the industry.

I was lucky enough to learn from exceptional stylists and mentors who helped shape me into the hairdresser I am today. During my time there, I achieved my Colour Specialist qualification after six weeks of intensive training, studying hair structure, colour science, hair condition, colour correction, and so much more.

Fast forward to today, and I've now been a stylist for over 28 years! ❤️

Hairdressing isn't just my job—it's my passion. I still love learning, creating beautiful hair, and helping my clients feel confident every time they leave my chair.

From home colour disasters to faded, patchy tones and years of colour build-up, it's been a week of patience, planning, and a whole lot of science mixed with creativity.

Colour correction isn't a quick fix – it takes time, skill, and trust. But seeing the confidence on my clients' faces when they look in the mirror makes every minute worth it. ❤️

A few little tips to help keep you comfortable during your appointment:

💧 Stay hydrated – bring a bottle of water if you like (I'll have water available too!)
👕 Dress cool and comfy.
☀️ If you've been in the sun, let me know if your scalp feels sensitive before your colour or cut.
🌬️ The salon will be as cool as possible, but please bear with me if it feels a little warmer than usual.
😅 I'll probably be rocking the shorts and T-shirt this week too!
