Just a little heads up that I'll be taking some time off from 23rd June and will be back in the salon on 30th June.

To make sure I can get as many of you booked in as possible before I go away, I'll also be opening on Sunday 21st June. 💕

If you're due a wax around that time, I'd recommend getting your appointments booked in sooner rather than later as spaces are already starting to fill up.

When I started Waxing By Gem, I honestly just wanted to create a little space where people felt comfortable, relaxed and could leave feeling better than when they walked in. I never imagined I’d one day be sat reading an email saying I’d won Waxing Salon of the Year 2026 for Tyne & Wear 😭🏆

This business has grown so much through word of mouth, loyal clients, reviews, shares, recommendations and you all trusting me with your fannies, armpits and life stories 😂

Some of you have been with me from the very beginning, when I was still figuring things out as I went along, and some of you only found me recently — but every single appointment has helped build this little business into what it is today.

I’m honestly so grateful.

Thank you for supporting my little home salon in Willington Quay and letting me do a job I genuinely love every day 🤍

Due to demand and price increases, there will be a small price increase coming into effect from 1st June 2026. I’ve kept it as fair as possible while still making sure I can continue giving you the best service, top quality products, and the kind of waxing experience where you leave feeling like a new woman (or man 👀).

If you’ve got appointments booked already for the next month — don’t panic, you’re locked in at current prices 🤍

And if you’ve been thinking “I’ll book soon”… this is your sign before the new prices kick in 👀
