Hello lovely people
I'm alive, I've had my operation. They have replaced my c5 and c6 discs with an organic cage like disc that they secure in the space with tiny screws and then the bones will naturally fuse onto those replacements which will mean that I shouldn't have any movement restrictions unlike a standard fusion which is metal plates pinning everything together, which hugely restricts what you can do. I feel like my throat has been set about with a cheese grater and put back in and then I'm almost sure they brought a horse into theatre to kick me in the spine, neck and collar bone. I have lots of morphine and people looking after me and hopefully I'll be home later today. The recovery time with standard fusion is 3-6 months but with organic fusion it's 6-8 weeks or sooner depending on the patient. So I will see you all soon # # #

Firstly I would like to say thank you for all the kind messages and thoughts that you guys have sent it really means alot. Secondly I am having spinal surgery on Thursday and if all goes well hopefully I will be back up and running in no time. I can't even tell you how much I've missed you guys. So watch this space, bionic nail technician coming to make your nails fancy, with any luck it'll be sooner rather than later # # #

Hello everyone. As you all know I've been having some health problems. My back has finally gone. From tomorrow I will no longer be working, I'm not sure how long for as I have an operation coming up at some point. I can only apologise for letting anyone down and for the inconvenience but I am physically unable to do this anymore. It has taken a huge toll on my mental health and the stress is becoming unmanageable. I have tried to keep going for as long as possible. I know you all love your nails but you'll find someone else. I have to look after me now and that requires a break. Thank you for all the years of friendship, laughter, tears, glitter and everything in between. Writing this has truly broken me and I hope you all know how much I'm going to miss you. If I want to get back to me though I need to stop. I hope you can understand and just know that this was a really hard choice. I'm sorry # # #

Well what can I say, I'm getting worse at posting not better. At least I'll have something to make a resolution about. As always I hope you're all safe and well. Xx

Hello lovelies, this is a post I wouldn't normally do on here, however you all knew her so I feel its only right. My mam passed away yesterday, she was home where she wanted to be, as a family we are all devestated and I need some time to sort things out, for any of you who have appointments this coming week, I'm so sorry but I need to cancel and I will be in touch as soon as possible to rearrange.
