☀️ BOTOX HEATWAVE AFTERCARE 💉✨

As it’s extremely hot today, please take a little extra care following your Botox treatment.

DO:
💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day
❄️ Keep yourself cool and stay somewhere shaded/air-conditioned where possible
😊 Keep your facial muscles moving normally — no need to keep your face still
🧴 Continue with gentle skincare and SPF
🛌 Take it easy if you’re feeling overheated

DON’T:
☀️ Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure today
🔥 Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and very hot baths
🏋️‍♀️ Avoid strenuous exercise for the rest of today
🍷 Ideally avoid alcohol today, particularly if you bruise easily
💆‍♀️ Avoid facial massage or treatments that involve pressing/rubbing the treated areas
🌡️ Avoid getting overheated wherever possible

A little redness, tenderness or a small bump at the injection sites can be normal and should settle.

☀️ LIP FILLER HEATWAVE ADVICE 💋

As it’s extremely hot today, please take a little extra care following your lip filler treatment.

DO:
💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day
❄️ Keep yourself cool and stay somewhere shaded/air-conditioned where possible
💋 Use a clean, cool compress if your lips feel swollen or uncomfortable
🛌 Rest and take it easy today
🥗 Eat normally and keep yourself well hydrated

DON’T:
☀️ Avoid direct sun and sunbathing today
🔥 Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and very hot showers
🏋️‍♀️ Avoid strenuous exercise for the rest of today
🍷 Avoid alcohol today as it can increase swelling and bruising
💄 Avoid unnecessary touching, pressing or massaging your lips
🌡️ Avoid getting overheated wherever possible

Some swelling, tenderness and bruising can be completely normal after lip filler and may be more noticeable in hot weather.

🚨 Please contact me immediately if you develop severe or increasing pain, significant colour changes (especially pale/white, grey or dusky areas), unusual blistering, or any visual disturbance.
