I wanted to check in and share a little bit of what’s been going on behind the scenes…

I’ve been training up my lovely friend Laura (AKA Lassoo Hair) to take the weave reins 💖

Laura has been hairdressing for years, and she’s taken to hair extensions like a duck to water!

She’s also a bloody wizard at vintage pin ups 😍

📏 24 I N C H E S 📏

The gorgeous Emily has been out of my chair while she went on a colour journey from dark to light ✨

So what do you do when you’re making your triumphant return to the world of the weave?

You go for 24” Russian Remi Cachet hair of course!

I chose a mix of shades to match Emily’s balayage perfectly 👌🏼 This included using rooted shades to make these bonds undetectable🕵🏻‍♀️

This hair will also last well over a year with good aftercare (which Emily gets a gold star 🌟 in!), so we went for 24” because we want to get as long as possible from this one set.

With bonded extensions, you can have the hair removed and re-fitted, with a short turnaround time in between to have the old bond removed and a new one added.

This means a small loss of length at each re-fit, so starting from 24” means there’s plenty of life in this mane yet 🙏🏼

🤯 19 months of the weave 🤯

Yep, my lovely Mary has had this set of extensions in for a whopping 19 months 🙌🏻

Longevity is really important to me - as I only fit gorgeous, high quality hair that goes the distance and looks gorgeous at least a year after the day it was fitted ✨

Mary’s extensions are fitted with the LA Weave method, which means the hair can be re-fitted over and over (and over!) with no loss of length and no waiting for the hair to be re-tipped.

This combo of high quality hair, and a method that can be refitted with no loss of length, means you can get just one set of extensions which can really go the distance, saving time and money over the long run - and perfect for weave queeeeeeens who don’t want any down time! 👑

🥳 A decade of hair 🥳

I welcomed the lovely Faye back into my chair for lil’ volume boost using 60 strands of Premium Indian bonded extensions 👌🏼

This service is perfect if you’re happy with your hair length but just want something more to play with, to add some colour dimension and have hair that holds a style better (without giving yourself too much hair to handle!)

Faye reminded me that I’ve been doing her extensions for ten whole years 🤯 It’s such a massive honour that you absolute babes choose me to do your hair, and that I’ve got to have you in my chair through house moves, degrees, career changes, babies and all the rest that life brings over a decade 🙏🏼

I’ll never not feel grateful that I get to do this job and meet such wonderful clients 🥺

✨100 STRANDS ✨

The gorgeous is another of my OG’s, and has been in my chair for all of 8 years 😱🤯

Some of this hair has been in for over a year, and it’s still as silky and strong as ever 💪🏼

Anna likes to have enough length and volume so that she can have a thick pony, and curls that hold, but without length of volume which would look unnatural ✌🏼

So we’ve gone for 100 strands of Mini Tip extensions to enhance Anna’s own hair, without feeling OTT!

My hair extension baby is 11 today! 🥳 who knew that 21 year old Maddi with her awful butterfly printed hair case, traveling all over the north east, would be here 11 years later (thankfully without that bloody case 🤣)

Can you believe this is just two rows of extensions? 🤯

The gorgeous Natalie wears just two rows of Remi Cachet Russian 20” Weft extensions (two volume wefts), as she wears her hair up for work and wants to add plenty of volume to her already long hair.

The longer your natural hair, the less extensions are usually needed, since we’re mainly just thickening what’s already there!

This hair lasts over a year with good aftercare, with refits every 10-12 weeks 🙌🏻

Refits can either be done in one appointment, or can be split if clients need their colour freshening up (or just wanna remember what it’s like to dry their hair in 26 seconds 🤣)

🔥 Copper Balayage 🔥

I always absolutely LOVE this colour combo for 😍

Sarah is another client who’s been coming to me for years, and I love every moment she’s in my chair (especially the time I couldn’t breathe over our Northern food convo 😅)

Sarah went for 16/18” Premium Indian bonded extensions, in a mixture of chocolate and caramel shades with a pop of copper 🍁

This set should last at least a year with refits every 3 months 🙌🏻

The longevity of the extensions I fit is really important to me -

Firstly, because the hair donors spend years growing their gorgeous hair for us, and also I want your hair to look gorgeous all year round, not just straight after your fitting 🤩

It’s the bounce for me! 🤯

✨Bleach-Free Balayage ✨

Today I welcomed back the very lovely into my chair 💖

Natalie wanted something mega manageable and easy to maintain at home.

She also love a bit of bounce and hair extensions hold their style like crazy 🔥

We opted for a half head of Premium Indian bonded extensions, cut down to her own length.

I fitted a mixture of shades, adding in some caramel to really enhance her dark chocolate locks, without a drop of bleach in sight!

The biggest compliment for me, is when no one knows you’re wearing extensions 👏🏼 @ Ritual Salon
