This is something that is very close to my heart.

As some of my customers know, I have personally experienced domestic abuse, and so did my mam. I know how difficult it can be to speak up, to admit what is happening, or even to recognise that what you’re experiencing is abuse.

Sometimes you can feel completely alone, embarrassed, frightened or like nobody will understand. Please know that you are not alone. 🤍

Domestic abuse isn’t always physical. It can be controlling behaviour, threats, manipulation, emotional abuse, financial abuse, stalking, isolation or making you feel afraid of someone.

If you’re reading this and thinking “this sounds like me”, please don’t be afraid to reach out. You don’t have to be ready to leave, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before asking for help.
