WHY I DO WHAT I DO… ✨

Sometimes I think it’s easy to forget that hairdressing is about so much more than hair.

Yes, I love the colour.
I love the shine.
I love creating a beautiful cut, curl or finish.
And I definitely love that final hair swish!

But what I really love is how someone feels when they leave my chair.

That moment when they look in the mirror and think “YES… that’s me.”

It’s the transformations, the consultations, the little finishing touches and finding something that works for the person actually wearing it — not just something that looks good in a picture.

But most importantly, it’s the people.

The chats.
The laughs.
The stories.
The friendships.
The people who trust me with their hair, sometimes for years and years.

Being a small business owner isn’t always glamorous. There are bills, stock, admin, cleaning, messages and approximately 472 other jobs that happen behind the scenes.

But then I get to stand back and look at a finished colour like these… and I remember exactly why I do it.

Because I genuinely love what I do 🧡

And to every person who sits in my chair, recommends me, likes my posts, shares my work or supports my little business in any way…
