Every client heals differently, and bruising after lip filler is completely normal. Some people experience very little, while others may bruise more depending on factors such as skin type, blood vessels, medications, or simply individual healing.

As shown in these photos, bruising and swelling can be part of the normal healing process and will gradually improve. Most bruising settles within 1โ€“2 weeks, with swelling reducing significantly over the first few days.

When booking your appointment, please allow yourself enough healing time, especially if you have a holiday, wedding, photoshoot or special event coming up. We always recommend booking your treatment at least 2 weeks before any important occasion to allow your lips to heal beautifully.
