While it was once standard advice to arrive at salon with 'dirty' hair, colour formulas often perform best on hair that has been washed 12-48 hours before an appointment

Removal of product buildup:
-styling products & root touch ups create a physical barrier on the hair shaft, this can prevent colour from taking

Even colour absorption:
- excessively oily hair can cause the formula to lift poorly

Accurate colour assessment:
-an excess of natural oils can make the hair appear one of two shades darker, arriving with clean hair allows your stylist to have an accurate judge to your natural level

Scalp examination:
-clean hair allows your stylist to clearly see your scalp

Courtesy to your stylist:
-please arrive with clean hair😊
