Luna is a rare white lioness living at Nature Park in Daegu, South Korea, who went viral for her striking snow white coat and unusually long, dark eyelashes.
Born in August 2025, Luna’s pale appearance is caused by leucism, a rare genetic condition that reduces pigmentation in the fur while leaving the eyes normally pigmented. This is different from albinism, which affects pigmentation more broadly.
Her most eye catching feature is her remarkably long eyelashes, which stand out against her white fur and give her an almost storybook appearance.
Her unique appearance has led people online to compare her to a real life Disney princess.
