Petition: Fund routine screening for bacterial vaginosis (BV) during pregnancy. 05/07/2026

evening all,
below is a link for you to sign a friend of mine's petition to make swabbing for BV (bacterial vaginosis) routine and part of NHS maternity care, Elisia sadly lost her two baby boys to an infection that was caused by BV that caused her to then go into early labour, if only she could of been tested and treated they may still be here with us today.

So she has dedicated her time to push her grief into purpose.. and she wants to help as many babies and moms out there as I can, please sign the petition it doesn’t cost anything and it doesn’t take up any time.

please can you all share and sign it with as many people as you know, if we get those signatures we can make a difference and save lives 🩵🩵

Petition: Fund routine screening for bacterial vaginosis (BV) during pregnancy. BV has been associated with increased risks of pregnancy complications, including preterm birth. earlier identification and treatment of BV may help reduce avoidable pregnancy loss and improve outcomes for mothers and babies.

hey all,

just want to say a BIG thankyou to all that have sent donations either cash or items. This shopping bag is full to the brim and we're still awaiting more donations🥹

all items are being donated for parents who sadly have a stay within 1 of the 2 bereavement suites at the Walsall Manor Hospital.

if you have anything you are willing to donate we would be SO thankful.🙏🏼

I am finishing collections on Tuesday 7th- and dropping off on the 8th, before my sons heavenly 2nd birthday on the 9th.

this means not only so much to me, but it will to the families too.

again thankyou from the bottom of my heart, and if anyone still wants to donate.. there is still time🩵

love, katie x

Today we pause to remember the parents whose hearts carry a loss that never truly leaves them.
Bereaved Parents Day is a time to acknowledge the love that continues long after a child's life has ended. It is a reminder that becoming a parent changes you forever, and that losing a child does not take away that identity.

Parents who have experienced this unimaginable grief continue to love, remember, and honour their children every single day.
To every bereaved mother, father.. your child matters. Their name matters. Their memory matters. Your grief is a reflection of the deep love you have for them, and that love will always remain.

Today, we also stand beside the families who navigate this journey, offering compassion, understanding, and the reassurance that they are not alone.

❤️💙💜💛💚🧡🤍🤎🩵
