Fran Physiotherapy/Pilates

Post-C-Section Recovery 8 Months Postpartum

Myofascial Scar Release: Helps improve scar mobility, reduce tissue restrictions and ease pulling sensations associated with fibrosis and adhesions.

Radiofrequency: May support collagen remodelling and improve skin texture and elasticity. Its effectiveness for deeper scar fibrosis remains uncertain.

Therapeutic Pilates: Strengthens the deep abdominal muscles and improves core stability and functional recovery.

Diaphragmatic Breathing: Improves coordination between the diaphragm, deep core muscles and pelvic floor, supporting pressure management.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage: Helps manage swelling when present and promotes comfort.

The goal: To support scar mobility, restore deep core function and improve overall postpartum recovery through an individualised physiotherapy approach.
