Transformation Thursday today toning right down for autumn and giving the hair a much needed break from bleaching.

Still leaving a good amount of blonde throughout but toning it down to complement the darker tones.

New client in today for complete change up…. She likes the balayage feel so taking her slightly darker to match her natural colour but repositioning the blonde and adding some chunky ribbons then toning to a more creamy light caramel.

This will be perfect for low maintenance

What a head of hair…

She loves wearing her hair straight most of the time so didn’t want any crazy layering but she does loves the point effect which naturally then gives you gorgeous feathering around the face frame

My clients hair had been coloured elsewhere and went too brassy for her so with added a less harsh base and thick ribbons of teased blonde highlights with more finer baby Potter around the face frame so it didn’t look to chunky or stripy!

I’ve put together a cancellation policy, and I just wanted to explain why 🤍

Because I’ve been doing this for so long, I’m very lucky that so many of my clients have become more like friends. I’m naturally very laid-back, understanding and flexible, and I never want anyone to feel like they can’t talk to me if something genuinely comes up.

BUT… I’ve realised recently that sometimes being too laid-back means my time gets taken for granted.

This is my business and, just like any other business, my appointments are my income. When you book a slot with me, that time is reserved specifically for you. If an appointment is cancelled or changed at short notice, it’s often impossible for me to fill that space again — which means I lose that income.

So I’ve had to put some boundaries in place. Not because I’ve suddenly become difficult 😂 and definitely not because I don’t understand that life happens — but because I also need to protect my time, my business and my income.

I will always try to be as reasonable and understanding as I can, especially when there’s a genuine emergency or unavoidable situation. But the cancellation policy will now apply consistently so that it’s fair to everyone.

Please don’t take the policy personally — it’s simply a boundary I need to have in place as a small business owner 🤎

Time for a brunette refresh 🤎

My client has been darker for a while now, but with those underlying blonde tones still sitting beneath, the colour naturally starts to fade and the blonde begins to shine through again.

After being away, the sun had lightened it even more, so we went back in with this gorgeous neutral brunette to bring the depth back through.

The result? A beautiful, natural-looking brunette that feels polished, glossy and fresh without looking too dark or flat ✨

9 months with no bleach getting her hair healthy and full again she felt it was time to add a bit of something to give it a bit more dimension.

So going in with partial babylights throughout adding the base in between then glazing to tone down any unwanted warmth in the blonde and not as bright.

Another re fresh today going win with a root smudge and toner.

Makes more of a difference than you think and you still feel like having a full fresh colour!
