After so much thought, I’ve made the incredibly hard decision that December 2026 will be the final month of Hair by Katie.

I don’t think I’ll ever quite have the words to explain what this little business has meant to me. It’s been so much more than hair. It’s been years of conversations, laughs, tears, celebrations, friendships, confidence boosts and memories that I’ll carry with me forever.

To every single client who has sat in my chair, trusted me with your hair, recommended me to a friend, supported my business, or simply walked through my door — thank you. You have played such a huge part in my journey, and I will be forever grateful. 🥹🤍

This decision hasn’t been easy. Rising costs and wanting more time with my family have made me realise that sometimes moving forward means letting go of something you absolutely love.

But… I’m not hanging up my scissors just yet. ✂️

I’ll still be here doing what I love until December, so there is plenty of time for us to have those final appointments, create some more memories and make the most of these last few months together.

I’m incredibly sad to close this chapter, but also incredibly proud of everything I’ve built.

Hair by Katie may be coming to an end, but the memories, friendships and love I’ve gained from it will stay with me forever.
