The shelves are up, the nail colours are out, Beauty Lab London is back on the shelves and there are some gorgeous skincare sets arriving too.

I absolutely love this time of year. Darker evenings, cosy lights, candles burning and that feeling of wanting to slow down and look after yourself a little bit more.

So whether it’s a fresh set of nails, sorting those summer feet out, a good facial, your waxing, brows and lashes — or simply popping in for some lovely skincare or a gift — come and see me.

If you haven’t been to The Skin Boutique before, I offer traditional beauty therapy from my private salon here at Yew Tree Farm in Warburton.

I’ve been a beauty therapist for over 20 years, and although the industry has changed enormously in that time, the things I love about it really haven’t.

Great treatments. Great products. Experience. And looking after people.

I specialise in female and male waxing, from brows and facial waxing through to Hollywood, Brazilian and full body waxing. Quick, discreet and experienced — waxing has always been a huge part of what I do.

I also offer Beauty Lab London facials, including relaxing, glowing facials alongside more results-focused treatments such as microneedling, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and professional peels.

Then there are all those beauty treatments we still love: brows and lashes, gel manicures, gel toes, pedicures and Sienna X spray tans.

And The Skin Boutique is becoming a little bit more than somewhere to come for a treatment.

I’m gradually building a lovely retail and gift area too. I now have Beauty Lab London skincare available to take home, including the brilliant Discovery Sets if you’d like to try the range without committing to lots of full-size products.

I’m also bringing in beautiful hand-poured candles and home fragrance, with more carefully chosen bits and pieces being added as I go — things I genuinely like and would happily have in my own home or give as a gift.

So you can come for an eyebrow wax, spend an hour having a facial, treat your feet to a pedicure, pick up your skincare, find a present — or just have a chat while you’re here.

It’s friendly, private and relaxed, with free parking right outside. No busy town centre, no traipsing back to the car after your appointment.

I’ve been a huge Beauty Lab fan for many, many years.

Ivy & Willow Botanicals candles are hand-poured in Lancashire using 100% soy wax and cotton wicks, with beautiful fragrances made for filling your home with scent. The jars are reusable and recyclable too.

I actually sold these candles years ago and always loved them, so I’m really pleased to be bringing them back.
