I was so excited when I received this gift from โ their brand-new fragranced disinfectant powder. ๐
Iโve actually been using Nibovi disinfectant powder for the last year, and I absolutely love it. Cleaning and disinfecting has always been a really important part of my business, and for me, itโs completely non-negotiable.
Iโm always surprised when new clients tell me theyโre shocked at just how thoroughly I clean and disinfect my tools.
Iโve even invested in multiple e-file bits, so the same bit is never used on another client unless itโs been fully cleaned and disinfected.
The Nibovi powder kills viruses, including blood-borne pathogens, bacteria including MRSA, fungi and yeasts in just 60 seconds, and destroys spores in 30 minutes.
So I already know how effective the powder is and have been using it for the past yearโฆ
BUT now theyโve brought out a fragranced version โ and honestly, it smells absolutely gorgeous! ๐
I wasnโt expecting disinfectant to smell this lovely!
Itโs such a little thing, but when youโre using something every day, having that lovely fragrance makes such a difference.

I often get asked, โWhat is a Russian manicure?โ So, what exactly is a Russian manicure?
As many of you know, Iโve been learning this new technique over the last few months, and Iโm very grateful to all of the clients who have patiently sat while Iโve practised and developed my skills. โค๏ธ
Russian manicure is all about detailed preparation, and thatโs what makes the difference.
Itโs about taking the time to carefully work around the cuticle area using an e-file and appropriate bits, removing non-living tissue and creating a really clean, smooth base for the product.
The aim is a beautifully neat finish, with the gel applied as close to the cuticle as possible โ without touching the skin. This gives the manicure a lovely, seamless appearance as the natural nail grows, so the grow-out can look beautifully neat too. โจ
Itโs not about rushing through the prep. Itโs about precision, patience and understanding the natural nail.
Iโve spent a lot of time developing my e-file and manicure skills, and I love how much difference good preparation can make to the finished result.
This set is a lovely example of that clean, detailed finish. โจ
