This week has been A LOT. We are at new levels of tired 😂

But getting this run done today was something I needed to do.

And my gosh, I feel SO much better for it.

There’s something about running where, for a little while, you can’t think about anything other than putting one foot in front of the other.

No to do list.
No overthinking.
No constantly listening out.
Just… run.

Even when Ted isn’t with me, I swear I can hear him crying sometimes. My brain is so used to being on alert that it feels impossible to properly switch off.

But running quietens that noise.

It gives me a little bit of calm amongst the chaos.

And it reminded me today that we really can do tough things.

Yes, I’m exhausted.
Yes, this marathon probably sounds completely bonkers to a lot of people 😂

But maybe, weirdly, the structure, the goal and the time to just put one foot in front of the other is exactly what I need.

Who knows.

All I know is I finished that run feeling more like me again ❤️

“I was not a runner and now I am about to run my third marathon.”

That line stopped me this morning.

Three Trustpilot reviews. Three completely different runners.

One who wasn’t a runner at all, now on marathon number three.

One who’d done a marathon on her own and had nobody to iron out the fuelling and nutrition stuff that kept tripping her up.

One who shaved 3 minutes off her 10k and went sub 30 for 5k inside a month, and says the biggest hurdle we helped her over was her own negative thoughts.

Here’s what I notice reading them back. None of them mention a plan.

They mention “someone to iron out any issues.” “Always on hand if you need to make an adjustment.” “They listen to you every step of the way.” And Hannah being “ready to give me a kick up the arse if I need it” 🤣

That’s the bit an app can’t do. The plan is the easy part. The person is the difference.

If you’ve got a spring 2027 marathon place and you’re starting from zero, this is your sign.

The group starts Monday 31st August and there are 3 spaces left we’ve had 2 sign ups in the last 24 hours.

DM me “SPRING” and I’ll send you the details 🤍

I’m looking for 5 more spring 2027 marathoners who want to get to the start line fit, fuelled and uninjured

❌ without winging it, relying on an app that has no idea who you are, or spending February injured and watching from the sidelines.

If you’ve got a London, Manchester, Brighton or Paris place for spring 2027 and right now you’re not running much (or at all)…

You’ve been told “just start in January”, you’re a bit terrified of the distance, and deep down you know a generic plan isn’t going to cut it for a race like this, I can help.

For most people the marathon is once in a lifetime. Don’t wing it.

I’m opening 5 spaces in our spring 2027 marathon group for runners who are ready to:

✅ Start from zero and build properly over 30 weeks, not 16

✅ Get a plan that adapts every week around your knee, your kids, your shifts, your life

✅ Be taught along the way. Carb loading, fuelling on the run, injury prevention, pre-race nerves, race day pacing. 54 modules in The TAP Way

✅ Have your race plan written for you, km by km, gels and all

✅ Get the guides from week one: Long Run Fuelling, The Marathon Mind, Runner’s Gut

✅ Have your own plan and your own coach, plus a group of spring 2027 runners to share the long run weekends and the wobbles with

We build your running, strength and fuelling around your life, with a real person in your corner every single week.

The goal?

Spring 2027, you cross that finish line fit, calm and proud, and you actually enjoy it. Ask Barry, Aniel, Daisy, Felicity, Lucy, Amy, Ellen and Kelly.

The group starts Monday 31st August.

If you’ve got a place and you’re ready to do this properly,

DM me “SPRING” and I’ll send you the details.

5 spaces. Let’s do this. 🤍

Texts your coach wants to send you before marathon weekend!

You’ve done the 16 weeks. The 6am alarms, the long runs, the gels in every pocket. And SO many of you are about to undo it all in the final 72 hours 🫠

HAHAHA no. Not on my watch.

The final week is not where the magic happens, it’s where people throw it away:

👀 20,000 steps of sightseeing the day before
👀 A ‘confidence’ run that carries fatigue into Sunday
👀 Brand new trainers straight out of the box
👀 Winging the fuelling and hoping for the best

Swipe for the texts I’d be sending every single one of you 🤣

Because race day is not where you learn to fuel. It’s where you repeat what your body has already done a dozen times.

Your bodyweight in kg = your carbs in grams per hour, 60g minimum, first gel at 30 minutes then every 30.

➡️ Send this to your marathon friends so they don’t make these mistakes

📲 Save this as your reminder on what NOT to do!

Which text do you need sending to you the most 👀

What a summer of sport we’ve had 🙌

Wrapped up at the Alexander Stadium.

Swipe ➡️ to see it looking a little different a few years ago 🤣

Thank goodness the camera quality (and the track 👀) have come a long way since then. I’ll absolutely take sharing a podium with Jazmin Sawyers.

I’m looking for 5 marathon runners who want to get to their Spring 2027 start line healthy, confident and properly prepared
That’s it.

If your plan came from an app that has no idea you work shifts, have a toddler, or trained through a heatwave last week...

If you’re stuck in the same loop rest it, come back, get injured somewhere new and nobody’s ever told you why...

If every run feels like the same pace and you can’t work out why the effort isn’t turning into results...

And you’re ready for someone to actually guide you every step of the way...

l’d love to help.
This isn’t another training plan.
This isn’t another session on the app that falls apart the first time life gets in the way.

It’s physio led coaching built around your body, your history and your schedule so your running, your strength and your fuelling finally work together instead of against each other.

To work with me you simply need to:

Be ready to take action.
Be coachable.
Be willing to invest in yourselt.

Soon you could be standing on that start line trusting your body, instead of quietly hoping it holds together.

It you’re ready to stop guessing, DM “START” and I’ll send you all the details.
