From apprentice… to Creative Director
It’s been an absolute pleasure to train Mia and watch her grow from where she started to where she is today. Over the last 4 years she has worked incredibly hard learning, developing and building her confidence into the stylist she has become.
The last 12 months as a Graduate Stylist she has absolutely smashed every opportunity, every challenge and every part of her training with determination, passion and confidence.
Now consistently fully booked, this promotion has been so well deserved and truly earned through hard work and dedication. The amazing Google reviews Mia receives are a true reflection of her talent and the care she gives every client who sits in her chair.

A good haircut shouldn’t feel like hard work. It should fall into place naturally, work with your hair’s movement and make styling feel effortless.
Claire specialises in short hair cutting and shags, creating soft texture, shape and movement tailored to you and your hair type. One of the techniques she loves to use is the calligraphy pen. Cutting the hair at a 21° angle, making it one of the softest ways to cut hair. This creates beautifully soft ends, natural texture and movement without harsh lines.
Rather than fighting against the hair, Claire works with your hair’s natural movement to create shape that feels lived in, modern and easy to wear.
You’ll also often see her diffusing or finger drying the hair to enhance natural texture and movement, rather than over styling it.

After 13 incredible years at PELO, it’s time to say goodbye to our lovely Robyn.
From amazing hair transformations to supporting our team and clients every single day, Robyn has been such a huge part of PELO and we can’t imagine the salon without her.
Whilst we are going to miss her so much, we couldn’t be prouder or happier for her as she starts an exciting new chapter as a colour educator for L’Oréal Professionnel in London.
What an amazing opportunity and so well deserved.
Thank you for 13 years of loyalty, talent, laughter, friendship and hard work. We love you Robyn and can’t wait to see you absolutely thrive in this next role ❤️

Statement pixie
Teresa has been a client of Claire’s for years, and recently made the move to embrace her natural colour… so it felt right to give her a cut to match.
Her hair is super thick, curly and coarse, so this wasn’t about just cutting it short it was about removing weight, adding texture and creating something that really works with her hair.
Using a mixture cutting techniques to add texture and movement, we created this soft but strong pixie with a short fringe.
No brushes needed… just fingers to dry it into place.
That’s when you know the cut is right
