How do I know if my hot tub water is balanced?

Keeping your water in balance takes two vital aspects into consideration:

- pH
- Alkalinity

Balanced water has a pH level between 7.2 and 7.8 and an alkalinity level between 80 and 120 ppm.

These levels show you how acidic your water is and are a quick way to ensure your hot tub is safe to soak in.

If your levels aren’t within those ranges, you can use a pH increaser, decreaser, or total alkalinity increaser to adjust them easily.
