New apprenticeship funding for salons ✂️

The government has announced a new financial incentive of up to £2000 for eligible non-levy paying employers who recruit a 16–24 year old apprentice as a new employee.

This incentive will apply to apprenticeships starting from 1st October 2026. To qualify, apprentices must have been onboard with the employer for 3 months prior (from July 2026 onwards).

The funding may also be used alongside existing apprenticeship support schemes, meaning salons could benefit from multiple funding opportunities when taking on apprentices ✨

Start your journey into hairdressing with our Private NVQ Level 2 course ✂️

Starting Wednesday 3rd June, this VTCT-accredited qualification is designed to give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to begin your career in the industry.

You’ll train every Wednesday (9am–6pm) at our Waterlooville academy over approximately 12 months, learning in a real salon environment with experienced industry trainers and support at your own pace.
