👄 What do you actually see when you look at a pair of lips?

Most people see shape, volume and symmetry.

As an aesthetics practitioner, I see something very different.

Beneath the surface lies a complex network of arteries, veins, muscles, glands and supporting structures that all work together to create the lips we see every day.

This is one of the reasons why lip enhancement is far more than simply adding filler. Every client has unique anatomy, different blood vessel patterns, varying tissue characteristics and individual facial proportions.

Understanding anatomy isn’t just about achieving beautiful results — it’s about prioritising safety.

✨ The Orbicularis Oris muscle helps control movement and expression.

✨ The Superior and Inferior Labial Arteries provide blood supply to the lips.
