I hope you all had a wonderful Easter 🐣 I'm back from my trip to visit friends who are basically family in Brunei and meet their beautiful new baby! I had an incredible time and although I'm sad to leave them I am so excited to get into Spring weddings 💐

Thank you so much to everyone who has been so kind and supportive throughout all of last year, especially while I took a bit of much needed time out - it means so much.

I couldn't work out the best photo for this post, but I figured my beautiful summer bride Abby was a great place to start. She got married on the hottest day of our September heatwave and she looked stunning. I am looking forward to seeing her professional photos and will share what I can with you!

I lost my incredible Mum unexpectedly this summer and my life has completely changed. She was my absolute best friend, with the greatest sense of humour and biggest heart.

Grief is a really strange and unpredictable thing, and after being back at work for a little while, I know the best thing for me to do right now is to dial back a bit and not take on any new bookings. I don't know exactly when I will open my diary again but I will update here when I do.

This doesn't affect any of my brides already booked in, who have been so brilliant and understanding.

I am still genuinely loving every wedding morning I get to be a part of and I have so many amazing photos from the last year to share when the time is right; but I want to be able to offer the best service from start to finish and as a one-man band trying to juggle everything, it doesn't feel right to take on any additional clients right now.

Thank you so much again to all my wonderful brides, fellow makeup artists, and fantastic hairstylists who have been, and continue to be, so kind and supportive while I learn to navigate this ♥️

This bridal party was so lovely and the location was a 3 minute drive from my house, and anyone who is in the industry knows it is unheard of to be able to leave home at a sociable hour on a wedding morning so this was just the dream!💕
