It's been ages since I introduced myself here. I'm not a big fan of appearing on the grid but I do try every now and again.

I'm Suki, I'm a fully qualified and licensed micro pigmentation and medical tattoo specialist. I have over 7 years’ experience in semi permanent facial cosmetics as well as medical tattooing for stretch marks, scars, vitiligo, and ar**la. I previously worked for over 10 years as a makeup artist and this is where my passion to work on people’s skin began.

Camouflaging a scar is a non-surgical medical procedure that will deposit the ink, which mimics your natural skin colour, into the scar tissue. Because skin isn’t one solid colour, I use an advanced technique to mix and match the skin tones throughout. You can see here how I'm trying different tones to match the skin colour.

This client has alopecia, so I wanted to create a really natural look. I'm so pleased with the result. I've used micro pigmentation technique. Micropigmentation is performed using a tattoo-like device that penetrates the skin to deposit various colour pigments. It differs from Microblading in that micro-blading is more of a manual process that uses a fine blade or needle-like pen to access the superficial layers of the skin to deposit colour.

This treatment helps to lighten the scar so that it is not so visible. This is not scar camouflage its a treatment to rejuvenate the skin to lighten the scar.

This scar is 26 years old. In just one session I was able to make it less visible. The results are a little red as it was straight after the session so it will calm done.

Stretch marks are pretty common on your calves, knees and across your buttocks so I wanted to show you some results of inkless stretch mark camouflage on these areas.

Perfect eyebrows are not always attainable by shaping and plucking. Patchy hair growth, hair loss, or medical treatments can result in less hair than we need in order to get those beautifully defined, gently arched brows. 

If you're curious about micropigmentation and would like to know exactly how it all works? Here’s exactly what the process is.

Step 1 – Consultation & Natural Eyebrow Analysis
We’ll start by looking at what you currently have and determine the natural shape of your brows. 

Step 2 – Measurements
The next stage involves using rulers or callipers to measure the position of your new brows so they are even. Our recommendations will be based on the natural shape of your brows and what best fits your face.

Step 3 – Pencil
Once we agree on the shape and overall finish you desire, we will draw on the eyebrows. This won’t be representative of the final look, since the colour won’t be matched to your skin tone just yet. 

Step 4 – Mixing the Colour
The right colour will blend perfectly with your natural tones. Once we have mixed the correct tone, we’ll double check that you’re happy with the colour and then we can proceed.

Step 5 – Micropigmentation Process
You can expect to feel light pressure and buzzing of the machine. Once the layers are finished, your eyebrows can be fairly red and a little inflamed. This redness will disappear after a few hours.

Step 6 – Time to Heal
At this point, the brow area is like an open wound in many respects. You must take care to keep it clean and dry to avoid infection. Post-procedure care is an important part of caring for your brows.

Step 7 – Touch Up Session
We will need to see you again for a second session 6 – 8 weeks after to achieve the final full effect.

Natural Hair Strokes - This uses pigment to create realistic hair-like strokes. It's great for a natural look and helps fill in gaps in the brow line or create brows where hair has been lost

Powder Effect - This uses pin-dot pigment application done with a machine in order to create an powder look instead of individual hair strokes. It basically recreates the flawless, freshly applied makeup you wear.
