A little Sugar Coated throwback ✨
Seeing on the cover of felt like the perfect excuse to revisit this lovely moment from the archives.
Five years ago, Rosie joined Liz Earle Wellbeing to share her expert hair-removal tips — bringing decades of professional experience into a conversation about caring for your skin and making hair removal feel a little simpler.
We’ve always admired the way Liz champions women’s wellbeing, confidence and informed conversations around our bodies, so it’s especially lovely to look back on this collaboration now.
Congratulations on the cover, Liz 💗
And Rosie… still giving the good advice all these years later.
One of the things out Founder, Rosie is really passionate about is giving young people the chance to experience what working inside a real, growing brand actually looks like.
Through Sugar Coated, she works with interns from the University of Warwick, giving them hands-on experience, real responsibility and an insight into the many moving parts behind building a business.
It’s about learning by doing, building confidence and creating space for the next generation to bring fresh ideas, energy and perspective too.
A lovely part of the Sugar Coated journey — and one we’re very proud of. ❤️
Smooth skin shouldn’t end the moment you put the wax away.
Ingrown hairs can happen after any kind of hair removal, but there are a few small steps can help reduce the chances.
We’ve shared the full eight tips in the Sugar Coated Journal. Read it through the link in our bio.
Warm. Stir. Smooth. 🍯✨
The secret to getting your Sugar Coated wax just right? Runny like honey.
This journal is Part 1 of our new four-part series with Sugar Coated founder Rosie, sharing her tried-and-tested tips, tricks and little sugar-waxing Rosie-isms — starting with the one you’ll hear her say again and again: “Runny like honey.”
Remove the lid, warm your wax in short 15–20 second bursts, stir well and keep checking the consistency until it flows just like honey.
Because sometimes it’s the little techniques that make all the difference. 🤍

At Sugar Coated, we like to say your wax should be runny like honey.
Getting the consistency right is the first step towards a smoother, easier application - so always follow the heating instructions, stir thoroughly and test the temperature before you begin.
This is Step One of our new four-part Sugar Waxing Technique series. Over the next four weeks, we’ll be breaking the process down one step at a time.
