At Kamyko we believe going to the hairdresser is more than just about getting your hair cut- it’s about relaxation, pampering and above all the service you get. That is why every guest to our Wellington salon is treated like we would a guest in our own home. On arrival be offered a relaxing cup of AVEDA peppermint and liquorice calming tea promoting a sense of well-being. Our stylist have years of experience and will guide you through a thorough consultation helping determine your needs, and how best we can help you .You will then be taken to the backwash area where your stylist will choose the appropriate AVEDA shampoo for your hair needs. The conditioner and scalp massage is then topped with a warm towel to allow for the maximum conditioning effect. Caring for you and the world we live in is high on our agenda, thus we use and recommend only AVEDA products. AVEDA is the first beauty company manufacturing with 100% certified wind power. Over 95% naturally derived from ingredients harvested worldwide. 90% of the ingredients and essential oils are certified organic. Thinking about colour not only is aveda colour 97% naturally derived ,it offers benefits like no other brand in that your colour can be tailored to you. Not only do you get a great colour but the patented oils in the colour conidition and give the hair that unbelievable AVEDA shine. Our aim is to create a fabulous you every time. After 14 wonderful years of training and building our salon, Kamyko in Wellington has officially closed its doors.
We would like to thank every single person who supported us throughout this incredible journey. Your kindness, friendship, loyalty, and love have meant more to us than words can express.
We have been truly overwhelmed by the impact Kamyko has had on people’s lives over the years — something that has humbled us deeply. Each and every one of you will be greatly missed.
As we close this chapter, we are excited to begin a new adventure as we relocate back to South Africa, our homeland, to be closer to family and enjoy the simple treasures of home once again.
Thank you for being part of our journey and for making Kamyko so special.

Hi there everyone
Just a heads up our online booking system will stop working from end February, all appointments will have to be made via our landline.
The second thing is that our card machine contract also ends this month so we will be unable to process any card payments from then.
We appreciate your understanding and that it is out of our control.

Dear Friends and Valued Clients,
