Good morning

A few weeks back we received the news that Daniel’s last biopsies and scans showed there was “No evidence of disease” ❤️ This was the best news we could have received and have been praying for. He has another MRI this afternoon and further biopsies in the newyear to keep a close eye on things 🙏🏽

I’m going to be completely transparent and honest here, as some on my clients will know I haven’t been feeling great myself since December last year which I’d put down to stress and worry with what Dan has been going through. But recently after a FIT test that came back positive im now waiting for appointments for a colonoscopy and a CT scan on a 2 week referral for further investigation after hearing from RUH this morning. I appreciate that everyone has their appointments booked for Christmas so I really hope this doesn’t effect bookings too much but if I have to move anyone’s appointment please just bare with me whilst I try to make some room to fit everyone back in. I’m already fully booked for December so I’m hoping all of this doesn’t cause too much chaos!

Friend In Deed - Companionship & Support in Bridgwater "A friend in need...is a Friend In Deed"

A local companionship and light-support service in Bridgwater. From a cuppa and a chat to outings, errands and light help at home, we bring warmth, company and peace of mind.

Just a little update from us both.

Firstly, Sadly Lindsay will be leaving us at the end of July all being well with her salon build finishing on time. We want to wish her the very best of luck and thank her for the last 3 years working with us ❤️ From me especially for keeping everything going whilst Dan has been poorly, I couldn’t have done it without you! Anyone who doesn’t have her address or contact details we can point you in the right direction ☺️

Dan will be making a slow return to work. Probably Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We would like to think we will know more regarding his health by September as things at the moment are still a little up in the air. He has appointments coming up for another CT and MRI scan in August and a small operation to take some biopsies of what’s remaining post treatment. Once the oncology department have all the results they need from this we await another face to face meeting and see how things are looking.

Whilst he’s feeling better and looking well, as you can imagine the treatment he’s been through has taken its toll and the list of possible long term side effects is rather large so he’s learning to listen to his body and take things slowly.

If you were a client of Dans previously and you’d like an appointment the best way to contact us is through our Facebook or Instagram. We’ve had a little trouble lately with Facebook and our page disappearing for some bizarre reason but hopefully this has been resolved. If you drop us a message he’ll get back to you ASAP, Please bare with us for a response he’s a rather long list to get through.

Bookings may have to be changed if he has hospital appointments come through, these are sometimes last minute but we will do everything we can to avoid this.
