We grow, harvest and and infuse herbs into cold pressed, natural oils using traditional methods. We use these oils in our skincare products which are all hand made, at our farm on the Mendip Hills.

The fact that it’s normal and acceptable for farmers to spray wheat crops with glyphosate just before harvest to aid the drying process illustrates the level of toxic ingredients permitted in the products we consume, inhale and put on our skin every day. Let’s tell the powers that be that we do not accept being poisoned.
How crops are grown, and what they’re exposed to before harvest, shapes what reaches our plates.
It doesn’t have to stay this way.

Today is and a , which is very exciting! At Lyonsleaf we feel like we should be dancing around a fire naked, but sadly we are doing our year end stock take 🙄

We were so pleased to have a visit from our local MP .munt last week.
We had a good old chat about some big issues like the suppression of Natural Remedies, the recent ban of Turkey Tail Mushrooms and the work Bristol Fungarium are doing to address this.
We chatted about the problem of toxic skincare ingredients washing into the water table and of big corporations lobbying government. We spoke about our campaign with Live Frankly regarding ultra-processed skincare
We talked of medical regulations and their impact on problems like Topical Steroid Withdrawal and we told her about the charity we sponsor ITSAN who are raising awareness about TSW.
We discussed the recent extraordinary revelations regarding corruption in the halls of power and how that may relate to censorship, control and digital ID.
We chatted about business rates and when Shepton Mallet might get a proper leisure centre.
I’m not sure how much Tessa can do to help us take down global tyranny, but she’s clearly sympathetic to small business and our worries and concernes are definitely on her radar. We felt heard. Thanks Tessa

I’m Vicky Lyons founder of Lyonsleaf. Today is my 55th birthday, and it’s not 10.30am yet. I’ve already been out it the with no gloves and destroyed my poor hands🤦♀️ The upside is I’ve come into contact with all that wonderful microbiota which is said to enhance our own and make us feel good - which I do! Luckily out of necessity I discovered, years ago, that extract rehydrates and repairs skin barrier decimated by dryness, which happens when you get your hands in the soil. So I’m off to gently wash my hands in natural soap, trim my broken fingernails and smoother my hands in our Calendula and marshmallow Balm before I put some make up on and go off for a get together with my family. I hope you are enjoying the UK sunshine today too!!
