Ken is our junior barber. He qualified from Strode College in 2025 and has spent 4 months training with Chris to continue improving his skills in the shop.

He is a passionate young barber who is always looking to learn, grow and build his experience.

After yesterday’s Mendip Mental Health Hike, we just wanted to jump on and say a huge thank you to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, shared, supported or came along to the after-party.

A special mention has to go to Wolf leader Chris, who puts so much heart, time and energy into organising this event each year. It really does show.

We’ll share another update soon with the total raised, but for today we’ll mostly be enjoying the sunshine and resting those legs. 🥾☀️

Months of planning, plenty of training walks and a brilliant amount of local support have brought us to this point.

Today is about walking together, raising money for Heads Up Somerset and celebrating the local support that has helped make this event happen.

👏 To every walker, volunteer, sponsor, local business, raffle-prize donor and supporter, thank you.

💙 To everyone who has shared a post, bought a ticket, donated or helped spread the word, thank you.

Now it’s time to get those boots on and make it a day to remember.

🥾 This Sunday, the Mendip Mental Health Hike returns.

After months of planning, support and community effort, we’re nearly there.

The route has had a few changes this year, including updates around Cheddar Gorge, so it’s been great to get out, prepare properly and take in those views along the way.

A huge part of what makes this event special is the people behind it. Walkers, volunteers, local businesses, supporters and everyone helping to spread the word all play a part in making the day what it is.
