Hormones …they don’t just affect our mood and energy—they have a huge impact on our skin too. Whether it’s puberty, your monthly cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause or conditions like PCOS, your skin is constantly responding to hormonal changes.
✨ Breakouts
Hormonal shifts increase oil production, so many women notice flare-ups before their period, during pregnancy or even for the first time in menopause.
✨ Pigmentation
Changes in oestrogen and progesterone can trigger excess melanin production, making melasma and dark patches more likely—especially during pregnancy and around menopause.
✨ Dehydration
Falling oestrogen weakens the skin barrier, leaving skin feeling dry, dull and more sensitive, particularly before your period and during menopause.
✨ Loss of volume
Oestrogen supports collagen and elastin. As levels decline, especially during menopause, skin becomes thinner, less firm and loses volume.
✨ Dermatitis & sensitivity
Hormonal fluctuations can weaken the skin barrier, making irritation, eczema and sensitivity more common at different stages of life.
And let’s not forget the part we don’t talk about enough…
Hormones can also affect how we see ourselves. That breakout before your period, pigmentation during pregnancy or the skin changes of menopause can make your inner critic louder than usual.
Your skin isn’t failing you—it’s responding to the changes happening inside your body.
The good news? Understanding your hormones means we can support your skin with the right skincare, treatments and advice at every stage of life. 🤍
So grateful for this little business of mine. 🤍
Of course I want to be the best, safest and most ethical aesthetics nurse I can be. I’m always learning, investing in my education and striving to give my patients the highest standard of care.
But the goal was never to be the busiest, the most successful or the richest.
The goal was always freedom. The freedom to build a career around my little family. To be there for school events, Christmases, bedtime stories and all the little moments that matter most.
Leaving the NHS was one of the biggest decisions I’ve ever made, but it gave me the opportunity to create a career that fits around my family, rather than the other way around.
I’ll never take for granted that you choose me, trust me with your treatments and support this little business. Because every appointment you book helps me live the life I always hoped for.
From the bottom of my heart… thank you. 🤍

A moment for these beauties, please! 😍💋
These lips had fully settled by the time my client came back for her regular anti-wrinkle appointment, and I just had to take a photo.
No duck lips. No harsh edges. No obvious “filler look.” Just soft, hydrated, natural-looking lips that are beautifully balanced with her facial features.
Would you know they’d been treated with dermal filler?
Probably not… and that’s exactly how I believe lip filler should look.
The best results don’t scream “I’ve had filler”—they simply enhance what you already have.
Natural, subtle and tailored to you. 🤍

Session 1 of 2 👃✨
You might be surprised to hear that I don’t always complete a non-surgical rhinoplasty in one appointment.
Sometimes, the safest and most effective approach is to treat the nose over two sessions.
Why?
The nose is a high-risk treatment area with a complex blood supply. Adding too much filler in one appointment can increase the risk of complications, so taking a gradual approach allows me to:
• Assess how the filler settles.
• Avoid overfilling.
• Make small, precise refinements.
• Prioritise your safety at every stage.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty can be an amazing treatment for improving the profile of the nose, disguising a dorsal hump, lifting the tip, or creating a straighter appearance—all without surgery.
The best results aren’t achieved by using the most filler; they’re achieved with careful planning, precision, and knowing when less is more.
This is Session 1 of 2… stay tuned for the final result! ✨
