All in a day's 'work'... doesn't feel like work somehow!

🎄 Can You Help Keep West Kirby's Christmas Lights Shining? 🎄
For many years, West Kirby has been lucky to have a dedicated team of volunteers who have worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to organise our much-loved Christmas lights display.
Following a number of retirements and resignations over the last couple of years, the current committee no longer has enough volunteers to continue. The existing committee has therefore taken the difficult decision to step down.
The good news is that this doesn't have to be the end of West Kirby's Christmas lights.
The current committee has built up years of experience, has a proven fundraising model that successfully raises the money needed each year, and can pass on all of the materials, contacts and knowledge to a new team. They have also kindly offered to provide advice and support to help new volunteers get started.
If you've ever thought about getting more involved in the community, this is a fantastic opportunity to help preserve one of West Kirby's favourite Christmas traditions.
📅 Information Meeting
Wednesday 22 July
7.30pm
Private Room (upstairs), Ring O' Bells
If you're interested but can't make the meeting, please still get in touch and Rachel will be happy to have a chat by phone.
Please share this post so we can reach as many people as possible. With a few new volunteers, there's every chance we can keep West Kirby sparkling at Christmas for many years to come. ✨🎄

And so does this... 😃🤩😍

Well that looks better!! 🥰🤩

We have a cute visitor in Acacia Grove
Baby Seagull
Its Adults and brothers and sisters live on the roof of the houses opposite.
Brow bar and Hannahs are feeding it. Poize has put a big bowl of water out for it. Many many conversations about it since Thursday. We're hoping it'll fly soon 🙏

So enjoyed doing this yesterday 🙌
10 years younger!? 🤩

Best Job in the World 🌎

So glad to be back 💇‍♀️

I would just like to thank everyone for being so kind and understanding in the last 6 weeks since I broke my wrist!
❤️❤️❤️

'Melissa' has reviewed West Kirby post office this week too.

She must be a perfect human who doesn't run a business 🤷‍♀️

Bit of a bizarre review left on our Google Reviews! We've flagged it up as scam.
No idea why she chose do do this or who she is.🤷‍♀️

If anyone would like to leave us a 'Nice 5 star review' on Google anytime soon that would be very welcome 🙏🙂
