Today is the day they call “Blue Monday” the saddest day of the year after all the buzz of Christmas and New Year, the middle of a hard slog month and when the credit card bills start to drop through post boxes!

If you’re feeling a little blue today be kind to yourself. Grab a hold of someone you can trust and tell them how you feel.

Remember it’s just a day or 2, January will soon be over and spring is quickly approaching!

If you don’t get the blues why not consider a random act of kindness to someone who does.

Do something nice for yourself too. Here’s a few suggestions:

Go for a walk (on your lunch break) and look for signs of spring.

Enjoy a little treat - a bar of chocolate 🍫

A cup of coffee ☕️

A bunch of flowers 💐

Watch a good classic movie 🍿

Buy or download a new book 📖

There’ll be lots more that you’ll know make you smile.

More than anything just know that you are cared for and loved and appreciated and that this is just one day.
