This is the treatment I reach for when the focus is on supporting the skin through the treatment process — strengthening the barrier, supporting recovery and helping to enhance the appearance of firmness, smoothness and brightness.

It’s particularly suited to skin that needs a little more support around an advanced treatment, rather than simply adding another active ingredient.

If your face doesn’t go the same shade of red after microneedling… there’s a reason.

You might notice one area looks much more flushed than another — and it can actually tell us something about how your skin is responding.

Different areas of the face have different levels of vascularity, skin thickness and sensitivity, so the inflammatory response isn’t always uniform.
The cheeks, nose and areas with a richer blood supply can show more obvious erythema, while other areas may look comparatively calm.

And here’s the important bit…

More redness doesn’t equal a better treatment.

I’m not chasing redness for the sake of it. I’m looking at your skin, adapting my technique and working at the appropriate depth for your skin and your treatment goal.

So if you look in the mirror afterwards and wonder why some areas are redder than others — don’t panic. Your skin is simply responding differently in different areas, and that’s completely normal.
