Some days remind me just how different my jobs really are!!

If you don’t know, obviously I have the salon and have been a hairdresser for 18 years, but I am also a director for my family’s hotel! Two opposite ends of the spectrum!!

Yesterday started with two meetings at the hotel, talking plans, solving problems and making decisions.

Then I swapped for my scissors and spent the afternoon back in the salon doing a lovely half head of highlights and a blow dry on mega long extensions. I thought my arms were going to drop off when blowdrying 🤣🤣 I blame you Phoebe Davies 🫶🏻

And then… the best role of them all… home to be Mum.

Some people ask me how I juggle running a salon alongside helping run a hotel.

The honest answer?

Some days I don’t know! 😂

But I genuinely love that no two days ever look the same. One minute I’m talking business, the next I’m creating beautiful hair, and by the evening I’m tending to my 3 kids!
It’s busy, it’s sometimes chaotic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Life doesn’t always have to fit into one box, and neither do our careers. ❤️

Hairdressing isn’t just about creating beautiful hair. It’s about making people feel good… and these little things genuinely make our day.

I love doing cuts like this. It’s such a rewarding feeling seeing the smile on my clients face when that first cut is done 😅
