A lot of the time clients think their colour has “washed out”… but that’s not always the case.

Your colour is still there — it just changes over time depending on how the hair is treated day to day.

Things like heat styling, water, product build up and even the environment all play a part.

That’s why glossing, treatments and the right aftercare make such a difference 🤍

Healthy hair will always hold colour better ✨

If your hair feels a bit dull lately, it might just need a refresh 💌

Are you noticing short, broken bits around your face?

If you’re rocking a blonde face frame or any lighter front highlights, here are some common culprits and tips to keep that delicate hair healthy and fabulous!

1. Sunglasses or Glasses on Your Head

Putting sunglasses or reading glasses on top of your head might be your go-to move. But did you know they could be damaging your hair? If they don’t have a smooth, molded nose piece, they can tug and break your strands every time you take them on and off—especially with your hair tied up.
Quick Fix: Hang them on your top’s neckline instead. No more hair getting annoyingly stuck, either!

2. The Lighter & Smoke Combo

If you smoke or are near open flames, your front hair is at risk of singeing. Yes, that’s a thing, and it’s a quick route to frizz and breakage! Be extra careful—your face frame is already the most fragile section of your hair.

3. Skipping Conditioner on Your Face Frame

Afraid of greasy roots? Many skip conditioning their face frame altogether, but this area needs moisture too! If you neglect it, you’ll end up with a crispy little number.
Pro Tip: Use a lightweight conditioner or a leave-in spray to keep it soft and healthy without weighing down your roots.

4. Overstyling

Bleached hair needs to be treated with care. If you’re using flat irons or curling tongs daily, you’re giving your hair a very short shelf life.
Solution: Only heat style when absolutely necessary, and always use a good heat protector.

5. Sleeping Habits

Are you a front sleeper? If so, switching to a silk pillowcase is a total game changer. It’s gentle on your hair, reduces friction, and helps prevent breakage overnight.
