A lot of people avoid trims because they’re trying to grow their hair… but leaving it too long between cuts can actually cause more breakage and thinner ends over time ✂️

Regular trims help keep your hair looking healthier, fuller and easier to manage - even if you’re growing it long 🤍

Leaving damaged ends too long can lead to:
• Split ends travelling higher
• Dry or wispy ends
• More snapping and breakage
• Hair feeling harder to style

As a general guide:
✂️ Every 6-8 weeks for blondes or shorter styles
✂️ Every 8-12 weeks for longer healthy hair
✂️ More regularly if your hair is damaged or overprocessed

I always get asked which appointment to book in for - highlights or balayage? 🤎

Both create beautiful dimensional colour, but the overall look and maintenance can be quite different. So here’s a little breakdown to help👇

✨ Highlights
• More structured and evenly distributed throughout the hair
• Gives a brighter, lighter overall finish from root to ends
• Perfect if you love a cleaner blonde look or want maximum brightness
• Usually requires more regular maintenance appointments

✨ Balayage
• A softer, more lived-in colour technique
• Hand-painted for a natural blend and softer grow out
• Lower maintenance and ideal if you prefer a more effortless look
• Great for adding dimension without being super blonde from the root
