We are currently in a period of Consultation in relation to our terms and conditions. Part of this includes a review of our pay rates. The proposed new pay rate for Support Workers is £9.30 per hour from 18th November 2019.
We are looking for people with enthusiasm and commitment who would like a meaningful role.
As a Support Worker you will work in partnership with people with a learning disability to enable them to live independent and fulfilling lives. Personal care is a very small element of a Support Workers duties, and amongst other tasks, you could be supporting someone to take their first flight on a plane, climb a mountain or choose their own clothes on a shopping trip.
This is not a 9-5 job and no two days are ever the same, you will work hard, but go home with the feeling that you have made a difference.
You will have a variety of life skills, confidence, a positive attitude, be a good listener and a good communicator.
