I’ve just done my accounts (awful task)! and seeing this post hit home.
It’s so very true what’s she’s saying. Times are hard, clients are stretching out appointments or even skipping. I’ve done it with not colouring my hair for a year because funds are tight. But please know, the ones who stick by me and my family mean so much and are the ones who keep me going with what I trained hard to qualify in and adore.
It is the bonds we make, the time I take and the finished product that I am proud of. For anyone new and thinking about booking in, please do. It’s a little crazy at times, in home salon life, two young girls, two dogs, but my treatments are high quality as I believe that’s what you deserve.

After a long 2 weeks with poorly kids, I’m back with open arms tomorrow and very much looking forward to getting stuck into all you lovely lot! Thanks again for your understanding with the last minute cancellations, not what I ever want to do but health must come first and 100% mum time was needed! Flo is hopefully out of the woods but I’ll be keeping a close eye on her for the next couple of weeks.

My poor girl 🥺 two failed lumbar punctures, observations still unsteady, intravenous antibiotics to treat viral meningitis which are making her have nausea and diarrhoea. She needs 10 days of intravenous antibiotics. Hoping to come home and come back in each morning to have them. Not sure how next week will go as we’re meant to be in a pod in Ingleton! Totally and utterly fed up and don’t want to repeat a week like this ever again. Layla is very much improving daily, so that’s good at least 😌

Just wanted to introduce myself to those who are new to the page!
I’m Sophie, a mum of two girls, 9 & 12. I have worked in beauty therapy for 20 years. In salon for 8 and ran my own business for 12, with a good following of regular clients over the years.
I work from my home in Wetherby off Spofforth hill & would like to think I offer an excellent service to all my clients in a professional manner & dedicated treatment room, using high end products. Fully insured. Competitive prices & many would say ‘the most thorough they’ve ever been to’!
If you’re used to going into a salon & are a little unsure about trying something different, worry not! My long established client base often tell me that they much prefer the professional, relaxed, friendly atmosphere of a one to one experience that can only be offered through a working from home environment.
