Something I specialise in mostly would be mature skin. It’s a lot thinner, it’s delicate and it can so easily become over saturated if not worked on correctly.

I alwaaays make sure I’m working extremely lightly to create the softness behind the natural brow hair.
We wanted to lose a few of the strays and create a nice sleek but natural brow with a slightly cooler tone to blend with her hair.

Let’s talk about my new treatment - chemical removal💭

Typically laser is the first thing I would suggest to get the bulk of the pigment out of the skin but in some cases when left with a yellow or red residue it can’t always lift it out and that’s where the chemical can come in.

Unfortunately if not done correctly, permanent make up can cause scarring in the skin which can make it harder to smoothly re apply the pmu. The saline solution can help to repair the skin and build up a stronger barrier for a better application of a fresh tattoo. Because the better the canvas for us to work on the better result going forward and a good pmu artist will always have your best interest at heart.

Emergency removal. This has unfortunately become quite common in the industry recently with the trending ombres going wrong. However, this can be done immediately if the blush has come outside of the vermillion boarder. Or if you’re just generally unhappy with a treatment this can be reversed if you act on it quickly.

Not all permanent make up is ‘ bad ‘ but with old pigments sitting in the skin that has faded out a grey/red residue, it just needs to come out as I won’t do a ‘ cover up ‘ on something I didn’t originally do. Pigments and technique has changed so much over the years so having a blank canvas is so much better to work on.. for your benefit & mine!

This is typically a 3 session process to remove the old before we can start with the new!
I’m running this on offer at £50 a session until the end of the year so I can keep building my portfolio

It’s definitely been a reflective sort of month for me, I’m very much still recovering from a long winded illness over the last 4 months with a long way to go but still managed to push myself out there and continue with growing my business. Still learning and still expanding my knowledge and treatments.

I took some time to slow down, enjoy moments of soaking up a quieter day in nature and feeling grateful for life.
I’m actually quite a boring person, but those moments bring a lot of content & peace!
Our house renovation is close to being finished and I’m so excited to share some before & afters 🤭

There have been so many moments when I could have thrown in the towel. But I didn’t.

Something I am hearing more and more of throughout my consultations is ‘ am I too old now? ’
Since when did we put an age on feeling or looking good? We absolutely should not.

As women, we spend years raising children, putting others first and somehow the years go by and all of a sudden it’s too late?

REMOVAL TRAINING DONE ✔️

Advancing my training is something I have always been really passionate about and today was something a little bit different.
I believe every artist in the permanent make up world should be able to offer some form of removal (laser is next on the list)

The Hanafy removal system is able to cover:
- emergency removals
- extremely old residues that has left a red/yellow hue in the skin that the laser can’t quite grab.
- pigment can often sit in scarring & with this technique it’s going to help actually realise it from the skin.
- iron oxide pigments that only so many laser sessions can remove and that’s when the chemical comes in.

Learning how to remove pigment from the skin is a skill that I can now offer in my clinic to make sure that my knowledge is covered all round.

Sessions will be offered on offer through out September and October only for building a new portfolio!
