It’s been a hot minute since I posted a lash line and oh my god do I love it!
It’s such a staple treatment when it comes to having permanent make up done because it really is beautiful.

It creates the appearance of naturally fuller, darker lashes without a visible makeup look. The result is a defined, brighter looking eye that enhances your natural beauty and reduces the need for daily eyeliner.

What is a cold sore and what happens when it scars your lip before lip blush?!

A cold sore is a small blister that appears on the lip typically caused by HSV.
Once it has gone through the blistered stage and begins healing the skin will repair itself within 7-14 days. This is the time you should NOT be having your blush done. You need to wait until the cold sores have fully healed and there is no more signs of them before your appointment.

It’s quite uncommon for cold sores to leave any form of scarring but in some cases it is possible, you will have a small pale mark on the scarred area leaving it feeling slightly more tough than the rest of your lip tissue!
Depending on healed results it may need an extra session but that varies on how deep the scar is.
Working with lighter pressure on that area and taking extra precautions.

It’s really important that pre and post lip blush you take your anti viral medication if you are prone to cold sore break outs. Even if you haven’t had one in years, lip blush can still trigger the virus as it will always lay dormant in our bodies.

But don’t fear, with the right artist you will still achieve amazing results 🧡

As you can see the colour softens and lightens and has healed beautifully. The main goal was to create a soft even coverage before thinking about implanting any vibrant colours, it’s about learning to work within the skin tissue first and see how it reacts and heals!
