Some common nail misconceptions and an explanation of the burning sensation you can feel whilst in the lamp.

I hear a lot of these things daily, mostly through the lack of clarity within the industry as it has evolved .

We want to ensure our clients are educated on the service they are receiving.

It’s common to hear “I need to let my nails breathe” which simply isn’t true. However it is common to give your nails a break, this might be due to previous damage or infections.

Hopefully this clears the confusion among my clients!

Both of our soft and hard gels are BIAB’s. For those who don’t know the difference, BIAB is an acronym that stands for Builder In A Bottle. Soft gel is often confused with BIAB as not all hard gels come in a bottle. However our Nails by Codie hard gel does. This makes it a BIAB.

The clarifying, sebum control range is most suited to those with congested or particularly oily skin.

The soothing range is most suited to those with particularly sensitive, easily irritated skin or for those who just want to relax!

We will ensure you’re getting the right facial for you and the correct treatment plan for your wants and needs.
