The last few weeks have been incredibly difficult, and this is one of the hardest posts I've had to write.

I've always tried to keep going, even on the days when I've been in a lot of pain, because I genuinely love my job and I never want to let my clients down. But recently I've realised I can't keep pushing my body beyond its limits.

The condition I have causes constant pain in my back and hips, and alongside this I've been struggling with my mental health. The combination has left me physically and emotionally exhausted.

For now, I need to take a step back, focus on my health, and give myself the chance to recover. If your appointment needs to be rearranged, I promise I'll be in touch as soon as I can. I know this may be frustrating, and I'm so sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this causes.

To every single one of my clients, thank you. Thank you for supporting my little business, for your loyalty, your kindness, and your patience. You've all helped me build something I'm so proud of, and it breaks my heart that I can't be there for you right now.

I'm hopeful that with time, the right treatment, and some much-needed rest, I'll be back doing what I love. Until then, thank you for understanding and for sticking by me. It truly means the world. ❤️

Hi guys,
I wanted to explain a little about my health, as I know my availability and the way I work can sometimes be affected by my condition.
I've been diagnosed with Bertolotti's syndrome, a spinal condition that causes me ongoing lower back pain and restricted movement. I can also experience pain that affects my hips and legs. Unfortunately, the pain can vary from day to day and can become significantly worse after prolonged standing, bending, lifting or overdoing things.
As my work involves standing and working in one position for extended periods, I sometimes have to reduce my hours, take more breaks or rearrange appointments when my pain becomes too severe. This isn't something I take lightly, and I always do my best to keep my appointments and provide the best service I can.
I really appreciate your patience and understanding when I need to make adjustments. I'm working hard to manage my condition while continuing to do the job I love, and I genuinely appreciate all of my clients who are supportive and understanding when things are difficult.

Our beautiful girl, Binx, has gone missing from my mum's house in the Milton Crescent area of Weymouth.
We're not sure if she managed to sneak out of the house or if she's hiding somewhere, but we can't find her anywhere. Binx is an indoor cat and isn't used to being outside, so she'll likely be scared.
If you see her, please try to keep her safe if you can and message me straight away.
She was staying with my mum while we were moving house, and we're absolutely heartbroken that she's disappeared. We miss her so much and just want our baby home.

Hey everyone, just a little life update. 💛

As some of you already know, I've recently been diagnosed with a spinal condition that causes chronic pain and restricts my movement.

I know I'm already working reduced hours because of childcare, and unfortunately I now need to shorten my Saturdays too. I want to make sure that whenever you're in my chair, I'm able to give you the best service possible.

Alongside this, I also have other commitments that are keeping me away from the salon a little more than usual. If you've messaged me and I haven't replied yet, I'm so sorry—I promise I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Just a little update—my Saturdays are now fully booked until September. Thank you so much for your continued support!

At the moment, due to childcare commitments and some ongoing health issues, I'm unsure when I'll be able to offer additional weekday appointments.

I'll always do my best to accommodate everyone where I can, but I also need to make sure I'm looking after my own health so I can be the best version of myself for my children and for all of my lovely clients.
