Meet Katrina – Our New Leyton House Educator

We’re delighted to welcome Katrina to the Leyton House education team!

With over 30 years of industry experience, Katrina brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and passion to every course she delivers. She owns two successful salons in the North East and has previously shared her expertise as an educator at New College Durham, helping to develop the next generation of hair professionals.

Katrina specialises in colour correction, all aspects of colour work, and hair extensions, making her a fantastic resource for stylists looking to refine their technical skills and build confidence behind the chair.

When asked about her favourite Leighton House product, Katrina didn’t hesitate to choose Liquid Jewels Stardust—a true salon favourite that she loves for creating beautiful results.

Outside of the salon and classroom, Katrina is a passionate surfer. Her dream waves are found in Australia, but when she can’t make the trip, you’ll often find her catching the surf at South Shields.

Katrina also loves spending quality time with her adorable puppy, Cooper, who is always happy to join her on long walks whenever she’s not busy in the salon or teaching.
